The last two weeks at Elowyn have been filled with meaningful milestones, shared adventures, and powerful reminders of what makes this world special, at least for us: our community. From launching our very first quests to hosting our first game night and once again, stepping onto a global stage, here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.

Week One: The First Quest Begins 

Our first quest week with our wonderful partner Immutable officially launched, and the response was incredible. During the first week, over 13,000 players joined, and 18,000 as of the 13th of February, with 32,800 on the Wishlist. This marks a huge moment for Elowyn and its growing universe. There’s a lot of noise and pushback around AI right now. Excitement. Hype. Fear. Skepticism. Anger. AI is changing our societies and lives in unprecedented ways. While it holds extraordinary promise when intelligence evolves in benevolent ways, it also carries unprecedented risk—if it doesn’t.

The collective stewardship required to guide this civilizational shift is vitally lacking. Our AGI Constitution framework offers essential guidance on why and how that matters, but that’s a topic for another article.

Before going further, in case you wondered, this article isn’t written by AI (though I’ll admit a light grammar check helped). The em dashes—that often reveal an AI author—are mine. I’ve also used them in my books long before AI (check the Future Humans Trilogy for evidence!).

The Elowyn adventure is only just beginning! As we approach the completion of our Alpha phase, players have been exploring new strategies, building decks, and enjoying enhanced in-game tutorials, along with improved time and deception mechanics.

Very soon, you’ll also be able to experience the in-game shop and marketplace, and sign in with your email or Google account via our new in-game wallet.

In the next Alpha build, coming around January 22nd, you can also earn bonus points by healing the Elowyn Tree and reputation points through win-win gameplay. Every decision you make — whether competing or cooperating — teaches the game’s AI to favor win-win logic, helping to train an intelligence that can safely evolve toward general intelligence, while also testing whether conventional AI models can be safely deployed as AI agents.
